We went up to the lake (Lake Martin) on Labor Day. In this picture is Sinclairs on the lake at Kowliga. A guy had a 2007 King Ranch Ford Expedition for sale in the area and Rob wanted to go check that out. It was more than Rob wanted to pay so that didn't work out, but it was a beautiful vehicle.

Rob loves the water. He could stand there all day looking at the boats and the water.

I always wonder what he is thinking when he is looking out at the water.

Bodhi seemed to enjoy his trip to the lake :-).

The dock at Kowliga.

I love to look at all the boats.

God made some amazing things, didn't He?

The boys checking out the dock.

Rob decided he wanted to do his own labor day. He got some baby back ribs from Winn Dixie and worked his magic on those.

Rob getting ready to chow down on Labor Day.

Bodhi's thinking those ribs are lookin' some kind of good.

The lines were long even early the morning of the annual BBQ sale at the Greek Orthodox Church. Neither Rob nor I had ever been so we decided to go for the first time. No time like the present, right?

It is such a big event that they actually have a drive thru set up for sales.

It's such a big annual event they even have police help.

Bodhi chillaxin...

So many people they formed 2 lines.

They had everything really organized. We were impressed.

Here's a car from Jefferson County! What a long drive for some bbq!

There was a lot of people who went under the tent to pick theirs up.

This is where you turn in to the Greek Orthodox sale.

Labor Day was sooooo hot here in Alabama. We have set a record for the most consecutive days for 90 degree + temperatures in a row. Rob, Bodhi and I set out pretty early to go to the annual Greek Orthodox Church's bbq sale. It is really a big event here in Montgomery, Alabama but neither Rob nor I had ever been. We got some camp stew, a pork plate and some sweet treats.

The Greek pastries were good.

I love camp stew, but this camp stew tasted like it had LEMON in it! It was a very different take on camp stew. And it was $9 a quart. Rob ended up getting all of this to himself :-).

We bought one plate (because they were $9 each, too). It had pork bbq, cole slaw, some more lemon camp stew :-), and a piece of bread on it.
