Our Christmas

This was the first year that we didn't have a real tree.  I did kinda miss the tradition of going to pick out the "perfect tree," but I did not miss all the needles being everywhere and how dry the tree gets so quickly.   I think this was the most beautiful tree we've ever had.  It was so pretty.   I really hated to take it down.

This was a new addition this year.  It came from Kirklands, of course!

I absolutely love when the Christmas cards start coming in - especially the photo ones.  They are so fun!

This gingerbread train was new this year as well as the angel.  They were huge hits - especially the train.  Everyone was captivated by the lights as they changed colors.

The wreath on our front door.   The lady at Hobby Lobby made this nice bow for me.
Ready to open presents.

Rob really liked the calendar I made him.  It had photos of us and Bodhi and he said he would take it to work with him.

Checking the calendar out some more.

Rob always talks about going on a picnic so I found him this "manly" safari picnic basket for Christmas.  He really seemed to like it!  Yea!

Checking out all the stuff in the picnic basket.

Bodhi offers to help open presents!

A 7 inch GPS.  Another winner.  I think Rob liked his presents.

I love love love this amaryllis Christmas wreath.  I put it on the backdoor.  I just love red.  It is almost my favorite color :-)

This was Rob's present for me.   It's for the office.   We had a little tiny one in there and now he's upgraded us.  I really like it!  And you can never had too many tvs or too large of a tv!

I loved the pink and red roses I got.  Aren't they beautiful?!

Family Christmas...Part II

It was great to spend Christmas Day at my sister's.  I love to see the kids open their presents.  Here Alex is opening the gift Rob and I gave him.

Alex liked the gift!

Abby tearing into one of the gifts Rob and I gave her.

Alex is such a good brother - he helped her out.

Abby and Alex go so much for Christmas.  They were very blessed with toys.

Some of Alex's Christmas gifts.  Santa Claus was good to him! :-)

Apparently the Baby Alive baby dolls were one of the big things this year and Abby had to have one...or a few :-)

Abby...frustrated because there wasn't enough room in the house to ride free and fast on her new Barbie Jeep.

This is the main gift Rob and I got Abby.

This nerf gun Alex got nearly drove me crazy.  My sister is a good woman to handle this.

Abby and Dave's Mom Betty, "MawMaw"

Abby and Dave's Dad Sammy, "GrandPapa"

Alex and his grandfather

Alex and his grandmother

Alex and Mama

I love Alex's expression in this picture!

It's been a long day, hasn't it, Abigail?

Oh no, it's an invasion of Baby Alive.

You go, Evil Kineval.
